Hi, I'm Tina!
I always loved the Monarch Butterfly. I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and I always watched them "Flutterby".
My favorite colors – in beautiful gossamer wings, just floating by.
I tend to Flutterby like a butterfly. Always watching through a lens.
I wish to share my findings with all my friends.
In my real life, I'm a photographer who has the chance to document the moment. I have the opportunity of creating images that people love. Images that will last a lifetime. Images, just as potent as a fragrance, to take the viewer back to the moments that Flutterby.
A little more about my background. In a previous career life, I was a fashion and beauty editor for a woman's magazine. I had the opportunity to interview many celebrities in the fashion world. My favorite was Oscar de la Renta – so debonair! How many people deserve that description? Other celebrities include supermodels Cindy Crawford, Carol Alt and her sister Christine Alt. Other designers I chatted with: Carole Little, Badgley Mischka, Dana Buchman, Diane Von Furstenburg (a fave!) and Nicole Miller.
For a few years, I relocated to New Mexico, where I worked with some very talented Native American (mostly Navajo) silversmiths. I designed Southwest-inspired sterling silver jewelry, including a line of watches and handmade belt buckles. My designs were sold in retail stores in Santa Fe and around the country, including Saks Fifth Ave., and Harold's, and in consumer catalogs, such as Sundance Catalog, and Coldwater Creek. It was a great experince, but I so missed Arizona! So here I am...
